We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Seed Company for their faithful support over the last 20+ years. We are grateful for the blessing of working together in Bible translation.

Back in 2001, the Seed Company was instrumental in the launch of the Luke Partnership pilot project, brought to Madagascar by Katy Barnwell and Ted Bergman. The four largest Malagasy church denominations, together with international mission organisations, began working together to support Bible translation into five Malagasy varieties. Since then, more language varieties have been included, and we continue to work to make God’s Word accessible to more Malagasy people.

Together in Bible Translation (also known as Fiaraha-miasa Lioka) is the first Bible translation effort into minority languages in Madagascar. TiBT-FmL work continues to grow and expand, and the Lord has assured us that this work is of Him and that He will provide.

Since the start, the Seed Company has shared expertise and facilitated the transfer of essential funding from overseas donors, many of whom are unknown to us. We thank the Lord for each person who has given and each one who has cared and prayed for this work. May the Lord himself bless and multiply to each one according to his generosity and provision.

“Hearing scripture in Tesaka was like suddenly being able watch it on video in my heart. And now I see that God’s word is alive in the Tesaka people around me. Bible translation did that!”

- Nestor Edmond, Tesaka

Nestor is one of many in TiBT, working with their churches and communities to loyally translate the Bible into their heart languages. So many people still believe that only the Official Malagasy language (the standard form of Merina Malagasy) can be used to pray to or hear from God. Through Bible translation we hope others will find the joy and freedom of a relationship with Jesus in the language they understand best.
